Our grounds: If you are looking for a small, quiet setting to take your yoga lesson, Red Elephant Yoga Studio is the place for you. Surrounded by a lovely wooded area, our studio is located behind our home. There is a calming garden entrance that you are always free to enjoy before or after class. Additionally, we have built a meditation garden you are welcome to visit. Pleasant water features are interspersed around the garden that have places for individual meditation, including the zen gravel garden where you may rake patterns into the small stones or sit on a bench and simply relax. Another garden path takes you down to benches for two to relax or have a quiet conversation with a friend. And a single stool by a bamboo water feature permits you to enjoy the sounds of gentle dripping water. Our studio: The studio and the classes are small to insure more individual, caring attention to you. Class size does not exceed 8 at any given time. We provide mats, firm wool blankets as well as softer ones for covering you during the final relaxation; bolsters, belts, scented and unscented eye pillows, wedges, and specialty rolls for those areas that may need additional support such as the neck or the knees. Please feel free to join us any time by telephoning for availability. Due to small class sizes, classes fill quickly.
Our store: When you enter, you will find an array of yoga products for sale including various sizes of mats, yoga books and relaxation CDs recorded by Charlotte to help you with your own home practice. Charlotte also has her own line of unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry and bath/body products for sale. For your convenience, you may also shop online.
Refund policy:

What we offer:
Gentle: Gentle yoga for those who have never taken a yoga class and may have particular body issues such as arthritis, bursitis, general aches and pains, stress. This is a gentle class all around for a person of any size - any age - almost any condition - who wants to do some gentle stretching, easy breathing and simple relaxation. Starting with the March Schedule, Monday evening's gentle class with Charlotte is also well-suited for pre-natal moms!
Level 1: This level is meant for those who have little or no yoga experience and do not have any real physical challenges to their bodies. These classes focus on building strength and balancing through basic yoga poses as well as your introduction to breath work. If you aren't sure which one is best for you, call Charlotte at 577-6623.
Level 2: This Intermediate level class is for experienced students who have an understanding of yoga postures and are looking to go deeper into their practice. Advanced asanas, breathing techniques and meditation are practiced.
Level 3: This level requires ability to practice inversions, more complex balancing poses, pranayam work and chanting.
Ageless Yoga: If you are 55+ and are looking for a morning class that offers gentle stretching and relaxation, then this is the class for you. Taught by Charlotte, you will do age and body-appropriate stretching that is designed to help you function throughout the day. And there is always the need to get rid of stress, no matter what your age.
All Levels: All our teachers are certified to adapt poses to whatever level you are at - beginner, advanced, looking for restorative help. When you come to this class, just let the teacher know of your needs for that particular day or evening to ensure a fulfilling experience.
